New York High School Basketball - Valhalla nudges Blind Brook

(January 16, 2008: Valhalla, NY 10595) Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Blind Brook Trojans (Rye Brook, NY), 48-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Valhalla upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Vikings host Keio (Purchase, NY) to encounter the Unicorns in a Section 1 IV - B bout on Friday, January 18. The Unicorns go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Keio lost 37-16 in their recent league bout against Valhalla (Valhalla, NY)

Next up, the Trojans encounter the Rye Neck Panthers (Mamaroneck, NY) in a Section 1 IV - B game, on Friday, January 18. Blind Brook will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record.
