GAME SUMMARY

New York High School Volleyball - Tappan Zee over Port Chester

(October 14, 2008: Port Chester, NY 10573) Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Port Chester Rams (Port Chester, NY), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Dutchmen battle the Spring Valley Tigers (Spring Valley, NY) in a Section 1 Class A - League C match, on Thursday, October 16. Tappan Zee will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 1-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Clarkstown South (West Nyack, NY).

With the loss, Port Chester drops to 0-10 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY) to battle the Indians in a Section 1 Class A - League C match on Thursday, October 16. The Indians come into the match with a record of 8-4. Nyack won 3-0 in their recent league match against Yonkers (Yonkers, NY)
