New York High School Basketball - Red Hook prevails Ketcham

(January 26, 2008: Red Hook, NY 12571) Red Hook Raiders (Red Hook, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ketcham Indians (Wappingers Falls, NY), 71-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Red Hook upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Raiders host Millbrook (Millbrook, NY) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 29. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Millbrook won 56-45 in their recent non-league bout against Dover (Dover Plains, NY)

Next up, the Indians play the Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) in a Section 1 I - C bout, on Sunday, February 3. Ketcham will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 66-54 non-league loss to Spackenkill (Poughkeepsie, NY).
