New York High School Basketball - Suffern beaten by New Paltz

(January 20, 2008: Suffern, NY 10901) In Sunday's non-league match, the visiting New Paltz Huguenots basketball team scored a good 69-51 triumph over the Suffern Mounties.

In their next game, the Huguenots confront the Webutuck Warriors (Amenia, NY) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 25. New Paltz will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 10-3 record after their 69-59 non-league win over Onteora (Boiceville, NY).

With the defeat, Suffern moves to 10-5 on the year. The Mounties travel to Ramapo (Spring Valley, NY) to confront the Gryphons in a Section 1 I - B match on Friday, January 25. The Gryphons enter the match with a record of 4-10. Ramapo lost 52-50 in their recent league match against Clarkstown North (New City, NY)
