New York High School Basketball - Mahopac overwhelmed by Carmel

(January 19, 2008: Carmel, NY 10512) The Mahopac Indians basketball team (Mahopac, NY), was overwhelmed 65-42 in Saturday's league battle with the host Carmel Rams (Carmel, NY)

The Rams now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Our Lady of Lourdes for a Section 1 I - C battle on Friday, January 25. Carmel will battle a Warriors team coming off a 54-45 non-league loss to Catholic Central (Troy, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 5-7.

The Indians (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Lakeland triumphed over Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY), 55-54, in a league battle.
