New York High School Basketball - Ardsley nips Yonkers

(December 21, 2007: Yonkers, NY 10705) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ardsley Panthers (Ardsley, NY) and the host Yonkers Bulldogs (Yonkers, NY), saw Ardsley's basketball squad hold off Yonkers by a score of 67-64.

With the victory, Ardsley improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Rye (Rye, NY) to battle the Garnets in a Section 1 III - B challenge on Wednesday, January 2. The Garnets come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Rye won 68-58 in their recent league challenge against Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY)

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 4. Yonkers will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Golden Knights come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 67-47 league loss to Pearl River (Pearl River, NY).
