New York High School Football - Dover ripped by Edgemont

(September 21, 2006: Scarsdale, NY 10583) The Edgemont Panthers football squad scored 46 points and limited the visiting Dover Dragons to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.

With the victory, Edgemont advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Panthers host Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY) to play the Yellow Jackets in a Section 1 B-3 battle on Friday, September 29. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a record of 3-0. Hastings won 35-21 in their recent non-league match against Byram Hills (Armonk, NY)

The Dragons (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Irvington (Irvington, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 1 B-3 match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Irvington was routed by Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY), 34-14, in a non-league match.
