New York High School Basketball - Suffern ripped by Mt. Vernon

(February 20, 2008: Mt. Vernon, NY 10552) The Mt. Vernon Knights basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Suffern Mounties to 51 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scarsdale for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 28. Mt. Vernon will meet a Raiders team coming off a 61-48 non-league win over Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 17-5.
