(December 5, 2007: Somers, NY 10589) Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY), 40-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Magnus upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 12. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Woodlands lost 85-53 in their recent non-league bout against Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY)

Next up, the Gaels play the Mahopac Indians (Mahopac, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 7. Kennedy Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
