New York High School Volleyball - Clarkstown South over Greeley

(October 7, 2008: Chappaqua, NY 10514) The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Clarkstown South Vikings (West Nyack, NY) and the host Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY), saw Clarkstown South's volleyball squad beat Greeley by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Clarkstown South upgrades its record to 6-7 on the year. The Vikings travel to Suffern (Suffern, NY) to play the Mounties in a Section 1 Class AA - League B bout on Friday, October 10. The Mounties go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Suffern lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY)

The Quakers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Lakeland for a Section 1 Class A - League B bout on Friday, October 10. Greeley will play a Hornets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 11-1.
