The Gryphons now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Guilford for a non-league match on Thursday, February 28. Rocky Mount will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 76-62 non-league win over Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 19-8.
With the defeat, Southwest Edgecombe moves to 17-8 on the year. The Cougars host Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC) to confront the Rams in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 26. The Rams enter the match with a record of 16-9. Northeast Guilford lost 60-57 in their recent non-league match against Dudley (Greensboro, NC)
