(January 22, 2008: Benson, NC 27504) The West Johnston Wildcats basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs to 41 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garner for a Greater Neuse River contest on Friday, January 25. West Johnston will meet a Trojans team coming off a 73-54 league win over Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 7-5.
The Bulldogs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Knights enter the Greater Neuse River contest with a 11-3 record.
