(January 16, 2008: Hillsborough, NC 27278) Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC), 38-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Cedar Ridge upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Fighting Red Wolves travel to Orange (Hillsborough, NC) to play the Panthers in a Mid-State 2A/1A bout on Friday, January 18. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 5-5.
Next up, the Tigers play the Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC) in a PAC 6 bout, on Friday, January 18. Chapel Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
