California High School Football - Casa Grande succumbs to Santa Rosa

(September 8, 2006: Santa Rosa, CA 95401) Santa Rosa Panthers (Santa Rosa, CA) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA), 38-27 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Windsor for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. Santa Rosa will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 30-0 non-league win over Carrillo (Santa Rosa, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.
