California High School Football - Dublin can't hold off Campolindo

(September 28, 2006: Moraga, CA 94556) Campolindo Cougars (Moraga, CA) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they observed their football squad get by the visiting Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA), 41-40 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Acalanes for a Diablo Foothill challenge on Friday, October 6. Campolindo will clash with a Dons squad coming off a 35-7 league loss to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA). The Dons record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Dublin moves to 0-4 on the year. The Gaels travel to Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA) to battle the Red Devils in a Diablo Foothill battle on Friday, October 6. The Red Devils come into the battle with a record of 2-2. Mt. Diablo lost 20-0 in their recent league battle against Concord (Concord, CA)
