Louisiana High School Basketball - Redemptorist edges Capitol

(February 8, 2008: Baton Rouge, LA 70805) The Redemptorist Wolves (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA), 50-43 in Friday's league test.

The Wolves (20-10) will now prepare for their test against Northeast (Pride, LA). The Vikings go into the 3A District 8 test with a 12-16 record. In their last test, Northeast got by Baker (Baker, LA), 52-34, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 5-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Feliciana for a 3A District 8 test on Tuesday, February 12. Capitol will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 61-58 league loss to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Saints record now stands at 8-15.
