(November 15, 2007: Opelousas, LA 70570) The Northwest Raiders basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Mamou Demons to 44 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Central for a non-league contest on Friday, November 16. Northwest will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 78-69 non-league loss to Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-1.

The Demons (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Ville Platte was routed by Northside (Lafayette, LA), 80-65, in a non-league contest.
