(December 20, 2007: Coushatta, LA 71019) Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers (Jonesboro, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Red River Bulldogs (Coushatta, LA), 73-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jonesboro-Hodge upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Tigers host Arcadia (Arcadia, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 28. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Arcadia lost 73-49 in their recent non-league bout against North Oldham (Goshen, KY)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 26. Red River will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Green Wave go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 62-51 non-league win over Amite (Amite, LA).
