Louisiana High School Basketball - Ville Platte trounces Mamou

(January 22, 2008: Ville Platte, LA 70586) The Ville Platte Bulldogs (Ville Platte, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA), 88-50 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (19-5) will now prepare for their test against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Crusaders go into the 2A District 6 test with a 8-12 record. In their last test, Westminster Academy was trounced by Mamou (Mamou, LA), 72-65, in a league test.

The Demons now own a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they host Westminster Academy for a 2A District 6 test on Friday, January 25. Mamou will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 63-38 league loss to Port Barre (Port Barre, LA). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-11.
