Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Joseph's ripped by Jena

(December 28, 2007: Jena, LA 71342) The Jena Giants basketball team scored 100 points and held the visiting St. Joseph's Eagles to 32 in the Giants non-league triumph on Friday.

The Giants now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host LaSalle for a non-league contest on Friday, January 4. Jena will confront a Tigers team coming off a 42-34 non-league win over Monterey (Monterey, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-10.

The Eagles (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Bethany Christian (Baker, LA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 14-18 record. In their last contest, Bethany Christian was routed by Houston Christian (Houston, TX), 41-39, in a non-league contest.
