Louisiana High School Basketball - Mansfield prevails Captain Shreve

(November 20, 2007: Mansfield, LA 71052) Mansfield Wolverines (Mansfield, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA), 74-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mansfield upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Northwood (Shreveport, LA) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 29. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Northwood won 61-60 in their recent non-league bout against Byrd (Shreveport, LA)

Next up, the Gators encounter the Texas Tigers (Texarkana, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 24. Captain Shreve will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Forney (Forney, TX).
