Louisiana High School Basketball - Catholic thwarts Jeanerette

(January 4, 2008: Jeanerette, LA 70544) The Catholic Panthers (New Iberia, LA) basketball felled the host Jeanerette Tigers (Jeanerette, LA), 58-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Notre Dame (Crowley, LA). The Pioneers go into the non-league outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Notre Dame was topped by North Vermilion (Maurice, LA), 59-54, in a non-league outing.
