Louisiana High School Basketball - Episcopal of Acadiana crushes Opelousas Catholic

(December 15, 2007: Cade, LA 70519) Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Opelousas Catholic Vikings (Opelousas, LA), 57-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Episcopal of Acadiana upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Falcons travel to North Oldham (Goshen, KY) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-2. North Oldham won 70-42 in their recent non-league bout against Whitefield Academy (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Vikings encounter the Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 21. Opelousas Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 61-57 non-league loss to St. John (Plaquemine, LA).
