(January 8, 2008: Baton Rouge, LA 70805) The Redemptorist Wolves (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Independence Tigers (Independence, LA), 49-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wolves (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Lee (Baton Rouge, LA). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 9-15 record. In their last test, Lee was beaten by Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA), 44-36, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they host Bogalusa for a 3A District 10 test on Tuesday, January 15. Independence will clash with a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 87-72 non-league loss to Salmen (Slidell, LA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 12-8.
