Louisiana High School Basketball - Caldwell Parish falls to Jonesboro-Hodge

(January 11, 2008: Jonesboro, LA 71251) The Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Caldwell Parish Spartans to 60 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ferriday for a 2A District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 15. Jonesboro-Hodge will confront a Trojans team coming off a 83-47 league win over Lake Providence (Lake Providence, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 15-7.

The Spartans (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Farmerville (Farmerville, LA). The Farmers enter the non-league contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, Farmerville lost by Sterlington (Sterlington, LA), 66-57, in a league contest.
