Louisiana High School Basketball - Hornbeck crushes Anacoco

(October 16, 2007: Anacoco, LA 71403) Hornbeck Hornets (Hornbeck, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA), 56-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Hornbeck upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Evans (Evans, LA) to encounter the Eagles in a B District 5 bout on Saturday, October 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Evans lost 67-27 in their recent non-league bout against Starks (Starks, LA)

Next up, the Indians encounter the Ebarb Rebels (Noble, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 19. Anacoco will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 50-41 non-league loss to Hicks (Leesville, LA).
