California High School Football - Liberty overwhelmed by De La Salle

(October 13, 2006: Concord, CA 94518) De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad crush the visiting Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA), 48-0 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Antioch for a Bay Valley challenge on Friday, October 20. De La Salle will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 28-14 league loss to Clayton Valley (Concord, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Liberty moves to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Deer Valley (Antioch, CA) to clash with the Wolverines in a Bay Valley challenge on Friday, October 20. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Deer Valley won 35-14 in their recent league challenge against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA)
