Georgia High School Football - Hardaway sneaks past Kendrick

(September 15, 2007: Columbus, GA 31906) The Hardaway Hawks football squad scored 24 points and restricted the visiting Kendrick Cherokees to 20 in the Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hawks now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harris County for a non-league battle on Friday, September 21. Hardaway will face a Tigers squad coming off a 27-3 non-league loss to Shaw (Columbus, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

Next up, the Cherokees meet the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) in a 2A-AAA challenge, on Thursday, September 20. Kendrick will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Grangers come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 48-0 league win over Jordan (Columbus, GA).
