Georgia High School Football - Spencer sneaks past Jordan

(October 19, 2007: Columbus, GA 31904) The Spencer Green Waves football squad scored 35 points and restricted the host Jordan Red Jackets to 29 in the Green Waves league victory on Friday.

The Green Waves now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shaw for a 2-AAA battle on Saturday, October 27. Spencer will face a Raiders squad coming off a 25-16 league win over LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-1.

Coming up next, the Red Jackets face the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a 2-AAA battle, on Friday, October 26. Jordan will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 10-6 league loss to Harris County (Hamilton, GA).
