New Jersey High School Basketball - Montgomery overwhelmed by Bridgewater-Raritan

(January 15, 2008: Skillman, NJ 08559) The Montgomery Cougars basketball team (Skillman, NJ), was overwhelmed 50-24 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers (Bridgewater, NJ)

The Panthers now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they host Watchung Hills Regional for a Skyland - Delaware East battle on Thursday, January 17. Bridgewater-Raritan will battle a Warriors team coming off a 64-58 league loss to Immaculata (Somerville, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 10-2.

The Cougars (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ). The Raiders come into the Skyland - Delaware East battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Hillsborough triumphed over Franklin (Somerset, NJ), 59-50, in a league battle.
