Louisiana High School Basketball - Tioga falls to Alexandria
(December 28, 2007: Alexandria, LA 71303) The Alexandria Trojans basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Tioga Indians to 54 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 2. Alexandria will meet a Tigers team coming off a 52-51 non-league loss to Bradley (Bradley, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 8-10.
The Indians (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Avoyelles ran past Montgomery (Montgomery, LA), 65-46, in a non-league contest.
