Louisiana High School Basketball - Pickering fells Rosepine
(January 11, 2008: Rosepine, LA 70659) Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA), 76-63 in a league bout.
With the victory, Pickering upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Red Devils host East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA) to play the Trojans in a 2A District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 15. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 7-10. East Beauregard lost 56-33 in their recent league bout against South Beauregard (Longville, LA)
Next up, the Eagles play the South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) in a 2A District 4 bout, on Friday, January 18. Rosepine will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 23-2 record after their 65-58 league loss to Oakdale (Oakdale, LA).
