Louisiana High School Basketball - Grant prevails Bolton

(December 4, 2007: Alexandria, LA 71301) Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bolton Bears (Alexandria, LA), 62-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grant upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Winnfield (Winnfield, LA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Winnfield won 49-32 in their recent non-league bout against Montgomery (Montgomery, LA)

Next up, the Bears encounter the Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 7. Bolton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 53-51 non-league win over Pitkin (Pitkin, LA).
