Louisiana High School Basketball - Buckeye edges Grace Christian

(December 7, 2007: Buckeye, LA 71328) The Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Grace Christian Warriors (Alexandria, LA), 32-26 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Cathedral (Natchez, MS). The Green Wave go into the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Cathedral got by Monterey (Monterey, LA), 57-44, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now hold a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they host Elizabeth for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 11. Grace Christian will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 65-46 non-league win over Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-9.
