Louisiana High School Basketball - Parkway falls to Tioga
(December 14, 2007: Tioga, LA 71477) The Tioga Indians basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Parkway Panthers to 63 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marksville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 18. Tioga will meet a Tigers team coming off a 54-46 non-league win over Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.
The Panthers (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Haughton (Haughton, LA). The Buccaneers enter the 4A District 1 contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Haughton ran past Green Oaks (Shreveport, LA), 54-47, in a non-league contest.
