(December 10, 2007: Converse, LA 71419) The Converse Wildcats basketball team scored 102 points and held the visiting St. Mary Tigers to 71 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wildcats now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Hill for a non-league contest on Friday, December 14. Converse will meet a Eagles team coming off a 76-70 non-league win over Lakeview (Campti, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 21-1.
The Tigers (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Many (Many, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Many trounced Florien (Florien, LA), 70-32, in a non-league contest.
