Louisiana High School Basketball - Pitkin falls to Pickering
(November 30, 2007: Pitkin, LA 70656) The Pickering Red Devils basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Pitkin Tigers to 56 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Red Devils now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iowa for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 1. Pickering will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 71-54 non-league loss to South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-5.
The Tigers (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Menard (Alexandria, LA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Menard was defeated by Grace Christian (Alexandria, LA), 51-27, in a non-league contest.
