Louisiana High School Basketball - Anacoco falls to Florien

(October 23, 2007: Anacoco, LA 71403) The Florien Blackcats basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Anacoco Indians to 41 in the Blackcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blackcats now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pelican for a non-league bout on Friday, October 26. Florien will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 92-81 non-league win over Zwolle (Zwolle, LA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-2.

Next up, the Indians play the Oak Hill Rams (Hineston, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 25. Anacoco will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 50-36 non-league win over Simpson (Simpson, LA).
