Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Mary falls to North DeSoto
(December 4, 2007: Stonewall, LA 71078) The North DeSoto Griffins basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting St. Mary Tigers to 68 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Griffins now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ouachita Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 7. North DeSoto will meet a Eagles team coming off a 59-42 non-league win over LaSalle (Olla, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Sterlington was defeated by Choudrant (Choudrant, LA), 58-53, in a non-league contest.
