Louisiana High School Basketball - Calvary Baptist Academy fells St. Mary
(November 17, 2007: Shreveport, LA 71106) Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting St. Mary Tigers (Natchitoches, LA), 70-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Calvary Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Lakeview (Campti, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Sunday, November 18. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Lakeview lost 87-44 in their recent non-league bout against Ruston (Ruston, LA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 20. St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 87-66 non-league win over North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA).
