Louisiana High School Basketball - Fairview crushes Pickering
(December 7, 2007: Grant, LA 70644) Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA), 102-79 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fairview upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hicks (Leesville, LA) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 8. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-15. Hicks lost 57-29 in their recent non-league bout against East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA)
Next up, the Red Devils encounter the Evans Eagles (Evans, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 11. Pickering will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-12 record after their 77-36 non-league loss to Converse (Converse, LA).
