Louisiana High School Basketball - Menard overwhelmed by Buckeye

(November 27, 2007: Buckeye, LA 71328) The Buckeye Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Menard Eagles to 27 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Grace Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 29. Buckeye will meet a Warriors team coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Cathedral (Natchez, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 17-4.

The Eagles (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Rapides trounced Bolton (Alexandria, LA), 69-47, in a non-league contest.
