(December 20, 2007: Rosedale, LA 70772) The Avoyelles Mustangs basketball team (Moreauville, LA), dropped 80-69 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host North Iberville Bears (Rosedale, LA)

The Bears now sport a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Episcopal for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 2. North Iberville will confront a Knights team coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights record now stands at 21-1.

With the defeat, Avoyelles moves to 8-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Pointe Coupee Central (Morganza, LA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, December 21. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 9-4. Pointe Coupee Central lost 79-54 in their recent non-league match against Northside (Lafayette, LA)
