Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Mary nudges Ebarb
(January 29, 2008: Natchitoches, LA 71457) St. Mary Tigers (Natchitoches, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Ebarb Rebels (Noble, LA), 66-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Mary upgrades its record to 6-19 on the season. The Tigers travel to Northwood (Lena, LA) to encounter the Gators in a 1A District 3 bout on Friday, February 1. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 6-17. Northwood lost 55-39 in their recent league bout against Block (Jonesville, LA)
Next up, the Rebels encounter the Stanley Panthers (Logansport, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 1. Ebarb will attempt to upgrade on its 10-20 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-21 record after their 72-69 league loss to Converse (Converse, LA).
