Illinois High School Basketball - Evanston edges Maine South
(January 18, 2008: Park Ridge, IL 60068) The Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) basketball nipped the host Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL), 62-57 in Friday's league test.
The Wildkits (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Thornwood was tipped by Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 47-36, in a league test.
The Hawks now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Elk Grove for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 22.
