Illinois High School Basketball - Clemente overwhelmed by De La Salle

(February 26, 2008: Chicago, IL 60616) The De La Salle Meteors basketball team scored 87 points and restricted the visiting Clemente Wildcats to 35 in the Meteors non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Meteors now sport a 23-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln Park for a non-league contest on Friday, February 29. De La Salle will meet a Lions team coming off a 45-38 non-league win over St. Patrick (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 18-10.
