Illinois High School Basketball - Manley overwhelmed by Von Steuben
(November 30, 2007: Chicago, IL 60624) The Von Steuben Panthers basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Manley Wildcats to 47 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to De La Salle for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 8. Von Steuben will meet a Meteors team coming off a 66-48 non-league win over St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 7-0.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kenwood (Chicago, IL). The Broncos come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Kenwood was routed by Curie (Chicago, IL), 67-55, in a non-league contest.
