Illinois High School Basketball - Lockport fells Andrew
(January 29, 2008: Tinley Park, IL 60477) Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad beat the host Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL), 62-47 in a league test.
The Porters (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins go into the SouthWest Suburban test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Lincoln-Way East went down by Joliet (Joliet, IL), 57-53, in a league test.
The Thunderbolts now own a 6-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sandburg for a SouthWest Suburban test on Friday, February 1. Andrew will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 48-33 league win over Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-10.
