Illinois High School Basketball - Stagg nudges Lockport
(January 11, 2008: Lockport, IL 60441) In Friday's league outing, the Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) basketball squad edged the host Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL), by a count of 54-52.
The Chargers (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Riverside-Brookfield was tipped by Ridgewood (Norridge, IL), 75-65, in a league outing.
The Porters now hold a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln-Way Central for a SouthWest Suburban outing on Friday, January 18.
