Illinois High School Basketball - St. Laurence falls to De La Salle
(December 7, 2007: Chicago, IL 60616) The De La Salle Meteors basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting St. Laurence Vikings to 48 in the Meteors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Meteors now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Von Steuben for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 8. De La Salle will confront a Panthers team coming off a 75-47 non-league win over Manley (Chicago, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
The Vikings (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Carmel (Chicago, IL). The Caravan enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Mount Carmel ran past Guerin College Prep (River Grove, IL), 53-52, in a non-league contest.
